Choose this 1 day Jinja Source of the Nile, Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest Tour, offering visits to three magnificent attractions. The tour starts after a very early breakfast preferably in Kampala / Entebbe. You will drive through tea plantations, sugar plantations and colorful roadside fruit and vegetable markets, and snack markets where you will see lots of traders dealing in roasted meat, plantain, and soft drinks.
To Sezibwa Falls
After an early breakfast, you will be picked by our driver guide to drive east to Sezibwa falls about 32 kms from Kampala. Sezibwa falls has an impressive scenery and 7 meter falls that create a hissing sound. The falls are surrounded by good vegetation and provide a good birding experience with several species of birds recorded in the area. It is also a cultural site with folk stories and several traditional healers using the site for their rituals.

Mabira Forest Hike
Mabira forest is situated about 55Km from Kampala city and is home to different bird species, beautiful butterflies, red-tailed monkeys jumping from one tree to another and the rare Mangabeys. We head to the Eco tourism center to start hiking one of the many forest trails under the leadership of a local guide . On the trail, you will learn about the different medicinal trees in the forest and how people lived and survived on the forest.
Boat Cruise at the source of the Nile
We head to Jinja where we have lunch have lunch after which we shall embark on a boat ride on River Nile the point of separation from Lake Victoria. Jinja is also known as ‘the adventure capital of East Africa’ because of the many adventure activities carried out on the Nile and along the Nile which include water rafting, kayaking, jet boating, bungee jumping, squad biking and horse riding along the Nile. You are free to stay longer and enjoy these many activities or arrange to return for the same.
The boat rides take between thirty minutes and two hours depending on the available time. Listen to your local site guide tell you stories of the ‘source of the Nile’ as believed by the locals.
We make the return journey to Kampala, arriving after sunset.
